Substance Abuse
Services for adults
include an intensive outpatient treatment program (generally a
12-week program, 4 days per week, 3 hours per day), intensive
outpatient program with specialized services for women, HIV
prevention, testing and referral services, and a methadone
maintenance and treatment program. Outpatient services are
provided on a sliding-fee scale based on income. Follow-up
services are provided to maintain abstinence and foster
recovery.
